Pamela J. Shaheen, 67, most recently of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away May 1st, 2022 with family by her side after a short battle with cancer. Pamela was born on June 23rd, 1954 in Schenectady, New York. She was preceded in death by her parents Amel N. Shaheen and Shirley A. Boyea. She is survived by her sister Cynthia Johnson of Northport, Florida; brother John A. Shaheen and wife Sandy Shaheen of Zephyrhills, FL; nephews Andrew K. Shaheen, Dr. Michael E. Shaheen and great-niece Emma Shaheen (whom Pam lovingly referred to as "her babies"); first cousins Fred Shaheen, Richard Shaheen and wife Deby Shaheen, Chuck Shaheen and wife Virginia, Donna (Shaheen) Kiefer and husband Joe Kiefer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews in New York, Florida, and Georgia. Pamela was a tireless, dedicated professional in the banking industry for nearly fifty years. Later in life Pamela went back to college and earned her degree in accounting, an accomplishment of which she was immensely proud. She had a flair for life and every day she showed her incredible generosity for others. The family wishes to thank Gulfside Hospice for the compassionate end-of-life care given Pamela while at home with her brother, John. Memorial services will take place Sunday, May 15th at 4pm in the chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home on 36327 State Road 54, Zephyrhills, Florida with Pastor Clarence Reinke officiating. The family will receive friends from 3pm Sunday prior to the service.
