BUSH, Owen Joseph, age 81, of Dade City, FL passed away on May 19, 2020. He was born February 19, 1939 in Louisville, KY to parents John Selby Bush & Neva Louise (Wyatt) Bush.Owen was a proud veteran of the Kentucky Army National Guard. He then went on to work for General Electrics for 30 years before retirement. Owen was very involved in the church, he was a Deacon in the Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir for many years. Him and his wife Sandra, who preceded him in death, lived at Traveler's Rest Resort for some time, where they participated in various volunteer work. Owen was also active in the resort's Computer Club, spending much of his time there. He also was a member of several local camping organizations in his free time.After's his wife's passing, Owen became a resident at Heritage Park in Dade City, FL. He was a beloved resident there for five years. During his stay, they even appointed him as their Honorary Postman. Owen will be truly missed by all who knew him. Owen will be laid to rest at Louisville Memorial Gardens East in Louisville, KY. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Dade City Christian Church.
