Orbin "G" Gilette Wood ,76, of Webster, Florida passed away on November 14, 2022. He was born on January 11, 1946 in Holmes County, Florida to Alma Vernell Hulon and Charlie Wallie Wood. Gilette was a hard worker, working for Boyette Timber for 50+ years as a logger. He won Rodeo trophies and chainsaw competitions in his younger days. Gilette and his late wife, Henrietta Gibson, married on March 3rd, 1989. They enjoyed 32 beautiful years together. When he wasnt working, he enjoyed driving around, seeing people, and eating ice cream. He is preceded by his late wife: Henrietta Wood; Siblings: Jim Wood, Merle Bazemore, Linda Helms Smith. Gilette is survived by his three children: Norma Jean, Sheila and Ricky; three step-sons: Clay Collins, Tommy Collins and Gary Joe Hagelston; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Sister: Ann Pittman; Nieces and Nephews: Barbara Jarrett, Carl Helms, Bruce Register and Curtis Fall. A funeral service will take place Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, Florida.
