Norman N. Sarne 92, of Dade City, FL passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018. He was born September 25, 1926 in Barre, VT and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He retired from the Nassau County Police Department in New York and after relocating to Florida he was the Circulation Manager for the Tampa Tribune. He was a dedicated member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he volunteered as an usher and donated his talents as a finish carpenter. He was also an active volunteer for Respect Life. Norman is survived by his 4 children:Andrew Norman Sarne (Eileen), Lorraine OSaben (Joseph), Kenneth Sarne (Patty), Daniel Norman Sarne (Peggy); 1 sister: Doris Schwenzer; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Madelyn Mary Sarne and his parents: Nicholas Norman Sarne & Valerie Kemmet. Funeral Mass will be held 11am Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family will receive friends for viewing one hour prior to service time at the church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his honor to either Respect Life or Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
