Obituary

Yann, Norma Krebs, 86, of San Antonio, FL, passed from this life to see Jesus face to face on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. She was born March 28, 1926 in Louisville, KY to Edward Dominic & Phyllis Bonn Krebs. She was a homemaker and a teacher to her children and grandchildren her entire adult life. Norma had a deep devotion to God with a faith in Jesus that allowed her to give of herself sacrificially to serve Him and his church as well as be a friend to all, young and old. She loved to be with children and the youth, whether sharing fellowship with the youth or teaching Sunday School children's classes. The last group of believers that she served, beginning when she moved to this area 8 years ago from Clearwater, FL, is the First Baptist Church of Dade City. She is survived by 4 sons: Thomas E. Yann, Versailles, KY, Michael A. Yann, Nicholasville, KY, Gregory G. Yann, St. Petersburg, FL, R. Kurt Yann, Dade City, FL; 2 sisters: Phyllis Gerhardt, Louisville, KY, Mary Joyce Scamardo, Hearne, TX; 1 brother: Thomas Krebs, Birmingham, AL; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Raymond Arthur Yann, and 2 brothers: Jack Krebs and Edward Krebs. Funeral services will be held 11:30 Friday, June 8, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Dade City. The family will receive friends for viewing from 10am until service time at the church. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or those that wish may make donations in her memory to the First Baptist Church Youth Missions fund.
