Norma Jeanne LaShure of Zephyrhills, FL went to be with her Lord, August 29, 2015. A Master Teacher by profession, she taught elementary education at private Christian academies in Pennsylvania as well as Florida over a 33 year period.Born April 12, 1945 in Jackson, MI she grew up in Bainbridge, NY. After high school graduation she went on to receive a Bachelors degree as well as a Masters degree from Grace College in Indiana.She had a lovely singing voice as evidenced by being a member of her college choir which toured and performed from one coast to another during her college years. For years, Norma taught Sunday School classes and lent her lovely voice to a local church choir.She is mourned and survived by a brother and sister-in-law Donald & Elizabeth LaShure of Encinitas, CA, four nephews also of California; Brandon LaShure and his wife, Danielle of Encinitas, CA, Jarrett LaShure of Ventura, CA, Brett LaShure and his wife Alexa of Redondo Beach, CA as well as Taylor LaShure of Venice, CA. She is also survived by her youngest brother, Paul LaShure, of Petal, MS.A memorial service to honor Norma's life and beauty will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd at the Hodges Funeral Home in Zephyrhills, FL.In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the charity of choice.
