Noil Melvin Nelson, 77 of Pikeville, TN passed away on April 19, 2015. He was of the Baptist faith. His favorite hobbies were fishing, playing pool, playing poker, and hunting. He also enjoyed spending time with his kids and his grandchildren. He was a truck driver who enjoyed traveling all across this beautiful country. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenora Nelson, 2 sons, Roland Edward and Ricky Devon Nelson, a brother, Talmage Buddy Nelson, 2 sisters, Doris Dunn and Corrine Nelson, and his parents, Roland and Ellie Nelson. Left behind to cherish Noils memory are his children, Donny (Kelly) Nelson, Ronald (Teresa) Nelson, Carol Nelson, all of Pikeville, Patience (Mark) Desmond, San Antonio, FL., Agatha (Barry) Clements, Lacoochee, FL, brothers, Waylon (Ila) Nelson, Zephyrhills, FL., Charles (Anna) Nelson, Lake Panasoffkee, FL, Leon Nelson of Crestview, FL, sisters, Alla Mae (Bobby) Groover, San Antonio, FL, Rose (Cecil) Jones, Croom-a-Coochee, FL., grandchildren, Kye, Noil, Denise, Jennifer, Jessica, Travis, Edgar, Alicia, Kristin, Joan, Peggy, Amy, Derek, Jaclyn, Kaylea, James, Timothy, Adam, Jennifer, Joshua, and James Jasper, 24 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Sunday and Monday at the Hwy 301 chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home, where funeral services will take place on Tuesday April 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Bill Denton officiating. Entombment will take place in the Serenity Mausoleum, Chapel Hill Gardens, Dade City, FL.
