Nereida Luz Caban Hartman (Lucy), age 77, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2020. Lucy loved her family more than anything in this world. Her brothers, her sisters, nieces, nephews but especially, her children and grandchildren, who she thought the world of and would have done anything for.She loved telling anyone who listened to her how smart, beautiful and wonderful her children were. She was always their number one cheerleader. In the last 14 years, her biggest joy came from being a grandmother. She simply adored her grandsons who she loved to spoil and kiss constantly. She always managed to find joy in the simplest things and had the most unforgettable laugh. She enjoyed listening to music and being on the dance floor. She loved getting her hair done and never left the house without a lipstick or two in her pocketbook. She never stayed angry with anyone, never complained and would given her the shirt off her back if they needed her to.Lucy is preceeded in death by her late husband, Frank B. Hartman who she loved with all her heart and survived by her children Eric Hartman (Virginia) and Melissa Posey (Mike) and 5 grandsons: Sebastian, Nathaniel, Christian, Carter and Brandon. She will be deeply missed but we rejoice in the fact that she is no longer suffering and at Home with Jesus.
