Nell Owens 86, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away Sunday, November 13th, 2022 at her home. She was born January 26, 1936 in Salem, SC to Robert Elbert & Hazel Jane Talley. She was a longtime area resident of Zephyrhills and attended the Fairhaven Baptist Church. She loved God, her family, and Taco Bell.

Nell is survived by 3 children: Sandra Darlene (James) Russell, Janice Elaine Sheppard, Charles D. "Chuck" (Scarlette) Owens; 6 grandchildren: Jimmy Russell, Bobby Russell, Chris Russell, Ashley Sexton, Sydney Owens, Charles D. "Trey" Owens III; and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles D. "Doc" Owens and a grandson T.J. Sheppard.

A Celebration of her Life will be held 11am Saturday, November 19th, 2022 at the 54 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Zephyrhills, with burial to follow at Oakside Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
