Obituary

Neil Donald Crouch, 60, passed away on August 16, 2026.

Neil was born on November 9, 1965, and spent much of his life in service to others. He dedicated 26 years to a career in law enforcement, serving the majority of that time as a police officer with the City of Havre de Grace, Maryland, before retiring from the profession.

Neil’s commitment to his community extended well beyond his career. He volunteered much of his free time with the Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps, continuing a lifelong pattern of answering the call when others needed help.

Following his retirement from law enforcement and his move to Florida, Neil remained connected to public service. At the time of his passing, he worked as a police dispatcher for the City of Dade City, Florida, continuing to support first responders and the community from the other side of the radio.

Neil is survived by his children, Zachary Crouch and Lindsay Carroll, and his grandchildren, Nathaniel Carroll, Sawyer Carroll, and Harper Crouch.

Across more than two decades in law enforcement, countless hours volunteering with emergency medical services, and his later work supporting officers as a dispatcher, Neil devoted a significant portion of his life to helping and protecting others. His years of service and the family he leaves behind are a lasting part of his legacy.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, former colleagues, fellow first responders, and all those whose lives he touched throughout his years of service.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday August 19th at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Dade City (14549 8th street, Dade City, FL), the visitation will be held from 10-11am with an 11am service time.
