Obituary

We are sad to announce that Nathan Schwartz known as "Lefty", passed unexpectedly on January 15, 2023. Beloved husband of Molly, devoted, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.

Lefty was born on April 12, 1933, in the Bronx, New York. After high school, he served his country by joining the United States Army where he received an honorable discharge after serving seven years.

Lefty had a strong work ethic and made his living as an exceptionally skilled truck mechanic. The first years of retirement were spent in the Bronx before settling down in a retirement community in San Antonio Florida.

His retirement years were spent developing new and close friendships along with their active adult community which he and Molly along with many groups, cruised throughout Europe.

Being an avid reader and lifelong learner, he entertained himself for hours doing word search puzzles. Lefty loved spending time with his family and friends, a lover of animals, but is best known for caring for and walking his dog Bella.

Lefty was a devoted husband, and a genuine friend, a funny, approachable, hard-working, and honest man. Anyone that knew Lefty was touched by his humor, kindness, and mild temperament. He touched the lives of so many people, and will never be forgotten.
