Obituary

Nancy passed away May 18, 2025 at home with her youngest daughter by her side, as she was welcomed into heaven by her husband Bobby. May 18th was a special day for Nancy, as it was her little sister Patsy's birthday. Her presence was required for this year's celebration.

Nancy was born on March 25th, 1942 in Palm Harbor, Florida to parents George M. & Ada Lee. Family meant a lot to Nancy, including her brothers: Richard, Robert, John, & Curtis, her sisters: Mary, Ada Lee, & Patsy, her grandson Joshua, and far too many nieces and nephews to list, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy also had deep friendships, notably with treasured friends Ann, Marie, and several others. She leaves behind 3 daughters, 1 son, 2 in-laws, 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren & 2 great great children. 1 sister, 1 brother, several nephews & nieces, her friends Charlotte and Noe along with a few others.

Nancy was also a woman of good faith, serving as a member of Calvary Assembly Church for many years. She received her Spiritual birth there in 1999. Nancy's legacy lives on in her dedicated work for the Shop & Go/Circle K, where she stayed for almost 40 years. She received several achievements for Manager of the month & Top store of the month. She met many friends along the way, being known as the friendly, familiar face to locals walking into the convenience store.

Nancy enjoyed spending time with family & friends, shopping, fishing, rodeo, Nascar, and watching western movies. She had a passion for cooking and sweets.

Nancy's best quality, however, was she had a huge heart & was always willing to lend a helping hand. She loved telling stories & making people laugh, her famous catchphrase being "I would tell you to kiss my butt, but I don't want your dirty lips to give me germs!" Nancy has left a huge hole in our hearts, and she will be greatly missed.

There will be a visitation at Hodges Family Funeral Home on June 5th, 2025 from 6-8PM.
