Nancy J. Sanchez 75, of Valrico, FL passed away Thursday, July 9th, 2020 at Hawthorne Village of Brandon. She was born July 16,1944 in Wichita, KS to Claude Raymond & Marion Pearl Blue.
She grew up in the Colorado Springs area where she was a 1962 graduate from Palmer High School and Blair Business College in 1964. She was a Senior Executive at an Audio Production Company in Florida and Senior Manager at Social Services of Colorado Springs. She moved to Florida in 1982 and lived in St. Petersburg, Lakeland, and Brandon areas before finally settling in Valrico, Florida.
Nancy is survived by her Life & Business Partner of 40 years: Lyle Wood; 2 sons: Scott & Gilda Sanchez, Kenneth & Angela Sanchez; 2 grandsons: Kenneth Sanchez, Kory & Melissa Sanchez; 1 great granddaughter: Lily Rose Sanchez; 1 sister: Claudia & Art Eber; 1 brother: Earnie Blue; 2 nephews: Matthew Eber and Joey Eber. She is also survived by Lyle's children: Kristi, Kari & Ross Wood.
She was an expert Visual Artist. Her love of the Arts led her to serve as a committed member of the Brandon League of Fine Arts for many years. She loved animals and helped make homes for numerous stray animals and was an avid nature lover; especially her beloved mountains in Colorado.
