During the early morning hours of Sept. 11th 2021, the illness and addiction that had stolen Nancy Jo Russos sparkle took her life. Nancy never wanted to be defined only by her addiction and mistakes... she was a beautiful, intelligent person who fell into its grip. It can happen to anyone. She would do anything for anyone and always lit up the room with her smile and sense of humor even while struggling with her demons. Nancy was born in St. Louis. on Sept. 15, 1960. She is survived by her husband Anthony (Tony) Russo, 3 children, several grandchildren, numerous loving relatives, in-laws, nieces, nephews and a host of long-time friends. A memorial service will be held on Sept. 26, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the clubhouse at Tree Lakes Mobile Home Park in Palmetto, Fl. If you are ever feeling sad or depressed, please know there is another way out of this labyrinth of suffering. Alcohol or drugs are not the answer. Nancy would never want another person to suffer.
