Nancy Preston Lee passed away in Dade City, Florida on February 21, 2022. She was 75.

She was born on December 3, 1946, at the University Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia. She grew up in Charlottesville and Lewisburg, WV, eventually moving to Richmond, VA where she met her husband, Brian Lee. They were married for 40 years.

Nancy and Brian relocated to Tampa, FL in 1989. She worked as a Community Management Associate until she retired. Nancy will be most remembered for her beautiful style, knack for entertaining, the warm aura in her welcoming home, and 5-star cooking. Her witty sense of humor and love of music and dancing made every visit seem like a party. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, grandmother, cousin, aunt, and great aunt whose hugs and "red lipstick kisses" left an incredible sense of love in your soul.

Nancy loved her family, and friends more than anything and she is missed more than words can say.

She leaves behind her husband: Brian Lee of San Antonio, FL; Her daughters Beth Ensley of Overland Park, KS and Nanette Hall of Moseley, VA; her sons Robert Nichols of Dawson, PA and JC Lee of Powhatan, VA; Her 5 granddaughters, Olivia and Tess Ensley of Overland Park, KS and Brooke, Jenna and Lacy Hall of Moseley, VA; her brother William Schauffler III and sister Sally Thomas both of Alexandria, VA, as well as numerous family members, nieces and nephews across the United States and Canada. She joins her granddaughter Kiersten Nichols in heaven.

A private family service will be held later when she is laid to rest in her family plot on the grounds of the University of Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Epilepsy Foundation or The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
