It is with deep sadness and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Nancy Ellen Cuthbert, who departed this life on July 25,2026 at the age of 86. Nancy was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished Memaw, a caring Aunt and a loyal friend. Her greatest joy was her family, Bingo, Tampa Bay Rays and the Florida Gators. She filled our home with love, laughter and unwavering support. She was the heart of her family. Always ready with a listening ear, a comforting hug and words of encouragement. Throughout her life, Nancy embraced every opportunity to work hard and help others. She was a dedicated homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family. She spent time as a long-distance truck driver embracing the challenges of the open road with courage and determination. Later, she dedicated many years working at George & Glady’s barbeque and VFW Post 4283 in Dade City. She took pride in her every endeavor and formed lasting friendships with those whose lives she touched. Above all she will be remembered for her love of our Lord and Savior, her unconditional love she shared with everyone who was fortunate to know her.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Dale, her son Ray as well as her brothers and sisters. Their loss was deeply felt she carried their memories with her always. She is survived by her loving daughters Rochelle Finch &(Juan), Bonnie &(Curtis) Hunt, Sister Linda Gosnell, 12 Grandchildren Mark & Missy Finch, Tim & Kayla Rogers, Brittney & Ike Herrera, Tommy & Jessica Finch, Joshua Finch, Wesley & Alexis Rogers. Matt & Brittney Frazier, Brandon Hunt, Ashley Cuthbert, Dale & Sarah Cuthbert, Lonnie Mears and Stephanie & Jason Borst. She had 26 great grandchildren.  A Service will be held11 AM August 4, 2026 (Tuesday) @ Hodges Funeral Home in Dade City with a 1pm graveside service at the Florida National Cemetery. Please join the family for a luncheon after service 37351 Layton Rd. Dade City.
