Nancy Sue Cornell, passed away in her home on December 16, 2023, after a long illness. She was surrounded by family. The daughter of John M. Roe and Jewell Viola Wagner Roe of Indianapolis Indiana. Her surviving sister Bonnie Albertson of Indianapolis Indiana. Older siblings, Margie Bencik and John M Roe, and great-grandson Finley Borkowski preceded her in death. Nancy Sue Cornell was born December 28, 1941 Indianapolis, Indiana to John M. Roe and Jewell Viola Wagner Roe. Graduated from Manual High School in 1960. Married Thomas L Dennis on July 3, 1960. Tom and Nancy were married 17 years and had 4 children together Thomas L. Dennis, Jewell A. Dennis, John M. Dennis, and Kathleen M. Rollyson. Nancy obtained her Cosmetology license and started her career in cosmetology she worked in several salons in Indiana and had her own salon in Greenwood Indiana while juggling her passion for gardening, homemaking, and family life. Nancy is survived by her spouse Marvin Cornell married 46 years this month, and stepchildren Cherri Sleeth, Mark Cornell, and Laurena Clay. Nancy and Marvin lived in Painted Hills, Martinsville, Indiana, where Nancy headed up social gatherings, holiday events, and family dinners. She loved creating a beautiful home and garden and exploring artistic projects. She traveled around the United States with her spouse finally settling in Florida where they made their home for the past 20 years in Zephyrhills, Florida. Nancy is survived by 6 grandchildren and 19+ one on the way, great-grandchildren; 18 step-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
