Nancy J
Boatwright
Oct 10, 1946 — Jun 29, 2026
Our Mom, Nancy Boatwright, has reunited with our Dad, Kerry Boatwright. She was welcomed to Heaven on Monday morning, June 29, 2026, by her loved ones who arrived before. Family was the center of her life. She celebrated their victories, carried their burdens, and made sure they always knew they had a place to call home. That home became a safe haven for several others as well. Nancy had a remarkable gift for making people feel welcome. She always had a smile and a refreshment for every neighbor, delivery driver, and mail carrier. Whether you were family, a friend, or someone she had only recently met, she had an open heart, an open door, and a way of making you feel like you belonged. That also extended beyond people. Every day, without fail, she made time to care for the woodland creatures that visited her backyard. Generations of furry and feathered friends came to know her voice and presence. She even raised butterflies, finding joy in watching them grow, evolve, and take flight. To Mom, every living thing deserved kindness. She also expressed her love through handcrafted birthday and Christmas cards. Each one was thoughtfully personalized for the person receiving it. Every card was sent with a little piece of her heart, to assure someone they were remembered and important. Without question, she was one of the sweetest people you could ever meet. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and genuine compassion left lasting impressions. She never sought attention or recognition. She simply lived a life defined by generosity, care, and love. We are so proud and grateful for that. Nancy's greatest legacy is in the lives she touched through simple acts of kindness. Her spirit will live on within all of us- her family, her friends, in every butterfly that catches our eye, and in every small reminder that kindness still matters. Thank you for everything. We love you, Mom. Always. -Darin & Ryan
In lieu of flowers, Nancy would be honored if you would give a gift in her name to Gulfside.org/make-a-gift.html
