Bice, Nancy Bailey 77 of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away peacefully on September 4, 2024, after a prolonged illness.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents George & Jean LeRay of Royalston, Massachusetts, her sister Mary LeRay, her husband Rolland Bice of Zephyrhills and Son in Law Brian Cox of Dickson, Tennessee.

Nancy is survived by her children, David L. Bailey Jr. (Anna) of Crawford, TN, Candace J. Lee (Rodney) of Waverly, TN and Carinda J. Cox of Owensville, IN. Nancy is survived by four grandchildren Delaina Aviles (David) Waverly, TN, Danielle Cooke (Jack) of Waverly, TN, Asa Cox and Aubry Cox of Owensville, IN and a great grandson Charles Cooke born in July. Nancy is survived by her siblings, Sua Langlais (Bob) Fla, George C LeRay III (Patricia) Ma., Catherine Brand (Paul) NH, Thomas LeRay (Debra) Ma., Martha Page (Michael) Ma., and many nieces and nephews.

Nancy Moved to Zephyrhills in 1972 and had worked for the Zephyrhills Fire Department as a First Responder-EMT, before settling in for over 30 years with C.F. Industries and retiring in 2008. Nancy devoted her life to the Order of the Eastern Star, holding the office of Grand Warder 2017-18. She also held the office of Worthy Matron several times over her 50 years in the organization. Nancy was an avid seamstress and quilter. Making quilts for foster children through Caterpillars to Butterflies brought her so much joy. Nancy would sew just about anything for anyone if they needed it.

A Celebration of life will be held on September 21st, at 2:00 PM at the Zephyrhills Nazarene Church at 6151 12th Street, with a luncheon to follow. Prior to the Celebration of life, the Order of the Eastern Start will hold a service at the Masonic Temple at 12:30 PM at 5950 12th Street in Zephyrhills.

In Lieu of Flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Crescent Chapter #54 for their scholarship program, as education was very important to her.
