Milton Ernest “Buddy” Griffin, 77, of Dade City passed away June 8, 2026. He was born December 7, 1948 in Plant City, Florida to Ernest Loran Griffin and Carolyn Wynn Griffin. Buddy graduated from Pasco High School and attended the University of Tampa, Lake City Jr. College and Andrew College in Cuthbert, GA. After years of service, he retired from Pasco County School System. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and creating personalized hats that he shared with his friends. He also inherited a love of coin collecting from his Papa Griffin. Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Carolyn Griffin. Survivors include his beloved sister, Marilyn Griffin; uncle Donald Wynn and aunt Lucile Crocker, numerous cousins and friends including special friends, Kevin Taggerty and James Hampton.

A special Thank You to Dr. Hubaykah, Dr. Quefatieh and Dr. Tsambiras, and the staff of the ICU at AdventHealth Zephyrhills who took such wonderful care of Buddy over the last year.

A visitation will be held 10:00 am-12:00 noon Saturday, July 18th at Hodges Family Funeral Home, Dade City, Fl 33525 with a memorial service to follow.
