The Chaff family mourns the loss of their beloved matriarch, Michelle Chaff, who passed suddenly and peacefully in the company of her loving husband, Bill, on September 29, 2025.

Michelle's life was defined by a legacy of love, kindness and compassion. She never met a stranger, and she was always willing to make sacrifices for others—even when she herself was in need.

She is survived by her husband, Bill; children, William, Frank, Paula, and Johnathan; her mother, Susan; and her siblings, Susette, Frank, Charles, Brigitte, Barry, and Katie. Michelle's love also extends to countless grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends who considered her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank, and her mother, Paula.

To know Michelle was to be touched by her generosity. Her greatest joy came from helping others. As a nurse, she earned respect and admiration wherever she served, caring for people during their most vulnerable moments.

Michelle was also known for her gift of hospitality. Her home was always open, her table always full. A warm, home-cooked meal from her had the power to comfort and heal. She loved to cook, spend time with her children and grandchildren, sing, dance, and fill every room she entered with laughter and warmth.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025. The visitation will begin at Hodge's Family Funeral Home in Dade City at 10:00 am, followed immediately by a service at 11:00 with reception to follow. Close family and friends are also invited to gather at the Chaff home afterward to continue sharing memories into the evening.
