Michael "Dwayne" Wagnon, age 39, of Zephyrhills, FL, was born December 27th, 1981, in Lafayette, LA, and passed away suddenly on August 21st,2021 from complications related to Covid. Dwayne Wagnon was a loving husband, devoted father, cherished son, brother, friend, athlete, and avid outdoorsmen. His legacy lives on with his two children, McKinley (11) and Diesel (9). He found joy in spending time with his family, hunting, lobstering, fishing, and laughing by the fire. In high school Dwayne led Callahan High School in Corpus Christi, TX to their first State Championship in Baseball. In 2001 he was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds minor league where he played pitcher. Dwaynes newest passion was training the youth to love and grow in the sport of baseball. He will be greatly missed by the little league baseball players he was training in Zephyrhills, FL. Dwayne was employed by Ring Power in Tampa, FL. He is survived by Melissa Mann Wagnon (Wife), McKinley and Diesel Wagnon (Children), Mike and Deanna Wagnon (Parents), Terry & Chuckie Wagnon (Brother and Sister-in-law), Richard and Ale Wagnon (Brother and Sister-in law), Auria, Isabella Wagnon and Madison Mann (Nieces), Sebastian Wagnon, Michael, Damon, and Maddox Mann (Nephews), Anita Wagnon (Paternal Grandmother), Cheryl Stoute (Godmother), Marlene Mann (Mother-in-law), Brother-in-laws Mark and girlfriend Candi, and Michael Mann and wife Jaclyn Mann. Preceded in death by Wille & Lillie Stoute (Maternal Grandparents), John Wagnon, Sidney Stoute (Godfather), Lewis Mann (Father-in law). Funeral Services will be held at 4 PM on Friday, August 27th, 2021 at First United Methodist Church in Zephyrhills, FL. The family will receive guests from 3pm till the start of the service.
