Michael Ray Pickler, 67, was born June 28, 1956, to Lonnie Ray and Beverly (Wren) Pickler in Joliet, Illinois.

Michael was a devoted and caring husband and father who enjoyed life and helping others. He could be seen throughout the community volunteering to help with yard work or riding around with his wife on their golf cart. He loved dancing, dining out and traveling. Michael and Iva had many fond memories of vacations throughout the country. He spent his final years of retirement enjoying the sunshine of Florida and making new friends in the Zephyrhills community.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, stepson Eric Hunter and niece Stephanie Straker.

He is survived by his wife Iva, son Shawn Pickler of Colorado Springs, Co., stepdaughter Charlotte (Bret)Mitchell of Tampa, Fl., Sister Julie Clark of Lees Summit, Mo., niece Angie McGowen, one granddaughter and two greatgrandchildren.

Michael has been cremated and will be interned at Highland Gardens in Jackson, Tn. There will be no funeral service.
