Obituary

Michael Keller, 73, was born on July 14, 1948, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was pronounced deceased at 10:15 p.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Advent Health Zephyrhills, Florida, due to complications from CHF. He is preceded in death by Cleophus and Geraldine (Beerman) Keller, and his older half-brother, Ron Kline. He is survived by his wife, Doris Renae (Ewing) Keller, of Zephyrhills, Florida. He is also survived by three sons, Andrew (Sue) Keller, Adam (Liz) Keller of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jacob (Jennifer) Ritter of Nashville, Tennessee and one daughter, Amber Elmore of Thonotosassa, Florida. He is also survived by one sister, Kathy (Steve) of Safety Harbor, Florida. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, Cheyenne and Walker Elmore, both of Zephyrhills, Florida, Morgan, Paige, AJ, Graydon, Maax, Sammy, Austan, and Dylann, all of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was a graduate of Snider High School, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He joined the Army and served two tours in Vietnam and was honorably discharged. He joined law enforcement as part of the Contraband Enforcement Team, as a K-9 Officer for U.S. Customs in Miami, Florida. He later went to work for private security, before working twenty-two years as a Security Officer at Tampa General Hospital. After his retirement, he worked part-time as a Security Officer for Allied Security. A Committal Service with Military Honors will take place on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 11am at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
