Michael David Groves 72, of Dade City, FL passed away Saturday, July 10th, 2021. He was born January 26, 1949 in Buckhannon, WV to John Jennings Groves and Josephine Phillips Groves. He retired as a Senior Administrator in the Construction Auction Industry and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He had attended both The Idlewild Baptist Church and The First United Methodist Church in Dade City.

Michael is survived by his wife Karen Kay Groves; 2 sons: Michael "Shane" Groves, Chad Elliott Groves; 2 brothers: Phillip (Sharon) Groves, John (Valerie) Groves; 2 grandsons: Ethan Thomas Groves, Andrew Jennings Groves and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held 11am Friday, July 16th, 2021 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, with burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery. The family will receive friends for viewing from 6-8pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.
