Michael A. DeStefano, 92 of Zephyrhills, FL passed away Friday, September 21, 2018. He was born July 27, 1926 in Dunmore, PA to Anthony & Mary Sciartelli DeStefano and moved to this area 28 years ago from Rochester, NY. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church locally, and in Rochester, was a long time member of Holy Ghost Church. Michael is survived by his wife: Dolly DeStefano; 1 son: Michael & Cynthia DeStefano; 1 granddaughter: Elena DeStefano; 2 sisters: Marie Pantaleo, Rita Mumby; 1 sister-in-law: Minnie Howard; 3 brothers-in-law: Carmen, Robert and Elmer Zipeto; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Helen Zipeto DeStefano and 1 sister: Ann Landers. He was a wise, kind and loving man, who valued and supported his entire family above all else. Funeral Services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, with entombment to follow at the Serenity Mausoleum at Chapel Hill Gardens.
