Pennington, M.H. 74 of Dade City, was called home by his Lord after a long illness on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at his home. He was born May 10, 1941 in Wytheville, VA to Albert J. & Hope Umbarger Pennington and retired from C.F. Industries as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. M.H. is survived by his wife: Verna Davidson Pennington; his mother: Hope U. Pennington; 7 children: Terry (Regina) Pennington, Theresa (Jim) Fudge, Junior (Cindy) Pennington, Tim (Angela) Pennington, Stacy Miller, Michelle (David) Herndon, Tara (RC) Lee; 3 brothers: Albert, Kenny and Darrell Pennington; 3 sisters: Rhonda Duncan, Beverly Fullington and Christine Seaman; 20 grandchildren: Tonya, Tracy, Sarah, BJ, Leann, Sierra, Matthew, Emily, Erin, Chaz, Dusty, Charlee, Danny, Cannon, Daniella, Moriah, Ryan, Anaya, Lyndsey and Reese; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, longtime close family friend Suzann Leavor and four-legged friends: Quigley and Caine. He was preceded in death by his father: Albert J. Buzz Pennington; brother: Gary E. Pennington and great grandson: Elijah Wilson. Funeral services will be held 3pm Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time from 2-3pm. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens.
