NICHOLSON, Melissa ONeal, 64, of Dade City, FL passed away on November 26, 2018. Melissa was born on March 2, 1954 in Oklahoma City, OK.

She is survived by husband Steven L. Nicholson; one brother, Charles O'Neal, daughters Jenifer Pierce and Kimberly Johnson; one son, Jody and wife Kari Ann; grandchildren: Stephanie Johnson, Elizabeth and Jackson, Connor Nicholson and Christian Rosenberg.

Melissa had an amazing loving heart. She may have seemed tough but once you got to know her she was a real softy who loved arts and crafts. She was a spinner and a weaver. People are lucky to wear her creations. Her grandchildren were her life, she lived for them. She spread love to so many people in her lifetime.

Melissa worked as payroll manager of Saddle Creek Corporation in Lakeland and was a dedicated employee.

Celebration of her life will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Tampa, 11400 Morris Bridge Rd, Tampa, Florida 33637 on January 12, 2019 at 2pm with a reception to follow on the church grounds. A special interment of ashes to follow with the Tampa Sailing Squadron, date to be determined.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Melissas memory to the Humane Society of Pasco County.
