Maurice Ira Hobson, 96, passed away on January 4, 2016, at his residence in Dade City, FL. He is survived by his nieces: Karen (Terry) Kuebler, Patricia (Greg) Lohrmann; nephew: Robert (Judy) Youngblood; son-in-law Tom Callaway; his beloved dog: Jewel and cat: Prissy. He is preceded in death by his wife: Louise Hobson; and daughter: Marsha Callaway. Maurice formerly owned Hobson Truck Repair in Dade City. He served in the Navy for six years during WWII. Maurice had been in the Navy for two years when Pearl Harbor occurred. A graveside service will be held on January 9, at 10:00 am at Floral Memory Gardens, Dade City, FL. Committal Service
