Mary Ellen Teachout (nee Jarrett) was born July 2, 1931, in Concord, Michigan, and resided in Zephyrhills, Florida. It is with a heavy heart and great sadness the family of Mary Teachout announces her passing on January 31, 2022, at the age of 90 years. She will be truly missed by her children Ronald (Bertie) Foote, Cynthia (Hal) Funderburk, Pamela (Jimmy) Foote, Michael Foote, Judith Wiley, Tamie (Randi) Foote, Sandra Bancroft, step-son Kelly (Diane) Kronemeyer. Mary will be greatly missed by her 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her husband Robert in 2019; both her parents Virgil and Edythe Jarrett; her brother Marion; and daughter Candace; grandson Lance Bancroft; son-in-law Terry Wiley. Mary was a retired inspector for Mechanical Products of Jackson, Michigan. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at 4 p.m. in the Country Aire Village Community Hall, Zephyrhills, Florida. Cremation has been entrusted to Hodges Family Funeral Home of Dade City, Florida. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date. In lieu of other tributes, donations if so desired may be made to the Gulfside Hospice.
