Obituary

Mary Carmen Smock of Dade City died on June 30, 2015. She is survived by grandson David Reese Spivey (wife Valerie), his mother Kay Spivey, two granddaughters Katelyn and Alexis of Oklahoma; daughter-in-law Patty Spivey-Wilson, (husband Stephen), two granddaughters Jean Spivey and Meg Spivey of Satellite Beach, Florida; step daughter Arlene Sileo, (husband Bob), of Tennessee and three step granddaughters Monica (husband Darrel) Graziani, Melanie (husband Tim) Gillooly, Sherry (husband David) Golby, and great-granddaughter Leigh Anne; step-son Kaven (Bethe) Dailey of West Virginia, four step-grandsons, three step-great grandsons and two step-granddaughters; her three nieces and several great nieces and nephews. Mary Carmen was preceded in death by her three husbands- Reese Spivey, Anthony Ronchetto, and Harold Smock; her son Harry Reese Spivey, and her sister Mildred Henry. Mary Carmen was born on November 15, 1926, in Lacoochee, Florida to Vasco and Mary Anne Andrew. She retired after 34 years in the baking business. She was a volunteer at the Greater Dade City Chamber of Commerce and the Pasco Regional Hospital, and a charter member of the Dade City Womans Club. Mary Carmens home was the home of many youngsters and they knew it. She had many friends and she loved them all. God has called her home. Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Smock will be Tuesday July 7, 2015 from the 301 chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home at 1:00 pm. A visitation will be from 11:00 am until the funeral hour. Burial will follow in Floral Memory Gardens in Dade City, Florida. Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel in charge of arrangements.
