Mary Elizabeth Ripple, age 96, went to be with the Lord, on Sunday, April 6th, 2025, peacefully at home with family. She was born in Temple Terrace, FL on July 17th,1928 to Jefferson and Effie Hutchinson Smith. She married her high school sweetheart, Don Ripple on November 15th, 1947. They lived in Tampa for 34 years, raised their 2 sons, and then decided to "go back to their roots" and moved to Dade City where they purchased some land, built a home, started raising cows and "living the good life". Don played guitar in the Orange Blossom Bluegrass Band and Mary learned to pick the upright bass. They enjoyed many years of hosting bluegrass parties with lots of great musicians, friends and family at their beautiful Willow Creek Ranch. Mary was an avid reader, loved reading her Bible and enjoyed keeping in touch with her family and many friends on the internet. Her patience and guidance influenced many. She was a faithful believer in God and a member of the Pasadena Baptist Church. Her family is rejoicing in her home coming to Heaven where her loving husband of over 65 years was waiting for her and she heard the words, 'well done, good and faithful servant'. Her memory will forever live on in the lives of those she touched.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Don Jr., Ron (Celeste), 4 grandchildren, Emily (Chris), Nicole (Richard), Dane (Heather), Donnie (Holly) (Samantha), and 6 great-grandchildren, Angelina, Everly, Rykr, Omri, Mason and William.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Pasadena Baptist Church, 35845 Clinton Ave, Dade City, FL 33525 on Thursday, April 10th at 6pm.
