Mary (Lib) was the seventh child of Eula Isabel York Ingram and Lester Shield Ingram. She was born on May 20, 1920 in Iredale County, NC, and is pre-deceased by her siblings Mildred, Irma, jack, Glenn, Kat and Evelyn. Mary moved to Jonesville at an early age. She attended Brevard College and graduated with a degree from University of NC, Greensboro in 1944. She later moved to Atlanta, where she met and married the love of her life, Jackson C. "Jack" Johnson in 1947, who passed in November, 2010. Together, they built a legacy that has been left to 27 descendants. Mary is survived by two daughters, Kathy Lowry and her husband Lionel and Beth Blessing and her husband Brant; two sons, Jackson Johnson, Jr. and his wife Marcie and Doug Johnson and his wife Nancy, grand children Lionel Lowry, IV, Bart Blessing, Leah Sams, Benjie Blessing, Bradley Blessing, Beau Blessing, Weston Johnson, Austin Johnson, Jackson Johnson, Logan Johnson and Mady Johnson; great- grandchildren Daphne Blessing, Mary Kathryn Sams, Lillie Lowry, Max Blessing, Chloe Blessing, Ross Sams, Laander Lowry, Ryleigh Blessing, Dixie Blessing, Breanna Blessing, Karly Blessing and Mason Blessing. The Johnsons moved to Dade City in 1950 and forged lifetime friends in the community and the First United Methodist Church. Mary loved her family and cherished her friends. She was devoted to her God and His Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The First United Methodist Church Legacy Foundation, 37628 Church Ave, Dade City, FL 33525. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 22, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Dade City. A reception will follow in the Christian Life Center.
