Mary "Molly" Lucas Hatcher, 56, passed away 10/15/2016 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born 11/1/1959 in Tampa, FL and moved to Zephyrhills in 1971. She was raised in the Christian faith. In 1977 she graduated from Zephyrhills High and attended Pasco Hernando Community College. Anyone who knew her would remember her as a kind and giving soul, always with a ready smile. She enjoyed all things with animals especially cats. She was affectionately referred to as "our family cat lady." Molly was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed working outside with her plants. Molly was the last living member of her family line. She was preceded in death by her entire family. Molly leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 19 years, Richard "Rich" Hatcher and his loving family including mother-in-law, Gail Hatcher; brother-in-laws, Che' (Angela) Hatcher, Andrew Hatcher; 2 nieces; 1 nephew. Per her request there will be no services. Donations may be made to your preferred family charity, any cancer society, or a local animal shelter. She would love for everyone to spend time doing something that makes them happy. "Let us not regret growing older, it is a privilege denied to so many."
