It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Embras Plume, 66, on December 20, 2025 at Zephyrhills, FL. Mary was a loving wife, devoted mother, caring stepmother, loving and proud Mommom and Great-Mommom who touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She has been reunited with her second born child Craig Simpson who preceded her in death in 1982,

Born on July 13, 1959 in Wilmington, DE, Mary was the daughter of Joseph and Evelyn Embras. She married Tim Plume on January 19, 2013, and together they shared 13 years of love, laughter, and cherished memories. As a mother to Jenn Earley and Bill Simpson, she instilled values of kindness, compassion, and perseverance. Her love for her children was immeasurable, and she dedicated herself to ensuring their happiness and success.

Mary was also a loving stepmother to Jeremy Plume and Megan Plume, who found in her a caring and supportive figure. She embraced her role with grace and warmth, always making sure her family felt united and loved.

Her greatest joy came from being "Mommom" to her Grandchildren Cheyenne Gonce, James Earley, Madden Simpson, Lula Simpson, and William Simpson and Step-Grandchildren Tristan Dunn, Crimson Plume, Cleopatra Plume, Camaria Plume. Plus a Great-Mommom to Colton Schlerf whom she adored beyond measure. She treasured every moment spent with them and took pride in watching her family grow.

Mary was known for her selflessness and huge heart. She would give all that she had to help anyone. She enjoyed her great adventure with TIm traveling around the country and living life to its fullest. She leaves behind countless memories that will be forever held close by those who loved her.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Tim Plume, children Jenn and husband Jim Earley, Bill and wife Meredith Simpson, stepchildren Jeremy and wife Christine Plume, Megan Plume and partner Scott Bull, Grandchildren Cheyenne Gonce, James Earley, Madden Simpson, Lula Simpson, and William Simpson and Step-Grandchildren Tristan Dunn, Crimson Plume, Cleopatra Plume, Camaria Plume, Great-Grandson Colton Schlerf, and many siblings, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched, and the love she gave to her family will never fade.

A private service will be held.
