It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Mary C Clark, also known as Cat, at the age of 89 in Dade City on May 3, 2023. Mary was born on April 22, 1934, in Ashford, Alabama to Joseph & Verna (Davis) Whatley, who have since passed away. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Evelyn Hattaway, Joseph Whatley, Lucius Whatley, Dorothy Scarborough, and her husbands Robert S Alexander and Charles H Clark. Mary is survived by her loving children Roxann (Tommy) Flowers, Wendy (Bob-deceased) McElroy, Robert S Alexander Jr., Kathy (Richard) Hayden, and Edward Olin Clark (Mandy), as well as her sister June Reffue. She also leaves behind a legacy of 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Mary devoted many years of her life to Lykes Pasco in the closing room, and in her free time, she enjoyed taking walks, going to the beach, and embarking on cruises. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 11 am at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel, Dade City, FL, followed by placement at Florida National Cemetery at 2 PM.
