Mary Roselyndia Burdin (Rose), 81 of Zephyrhills Florida Passed away peacefully at her home on June 11, 2024. Rose was born June 18,1942 In Clearwater Florida to parents James and Clara Howell Mercer. Rose was the oldest of their five children. Rose grew up for the most part in Clearwater Florida where her parents owned and operated Sunset Nursery. Because of the nursery Rose, was instilled with a lifelong love of plants. She also loved hummingbirds, she enjoyed sharing her time and giving gifts to her friends and family. Rose retired from the Pasco County Sheriffs Department after a 32-year career. She was also proud to be a Shriners grand Priestess. Rose was preceded in death by both parents, infant brother, and her 1st husband Russel O, McKee and 2nd precious husband Pirtle Burdin. Rose is survived by her 2 sons, Russell O and Kim McKee, and John and Bonnie McKee Daughters Maria and Lenard Bodiford, and Kimberly and Jim Cardinale. Lots of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Zephyrhills, Friday, June 14, 2024 from 4-6 PM. Graveside Service Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Floral Memory Gardens in Dade City Florida at 11AM.
