JONES, MARY BLOUNT (91) of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away peacefully on August 30,2017 at Royal Oak Nursing Center, Dade City. Mary was born to Naomi and John Evans in Leesburg,FL. She enjoyed growing up in Dade City with her mother, siblings and adoptive father, Raymond More.

She is predeceased by her husbands, J. Henry Blount of 45 years and Lt. Col William J. Jones of 21 years; sisters Idabelle DeWitt, Emma Govreau, brothers Ray More and Robert More and daughter-in-law Margaret Blount. She is survived by her brother Bennet More (Judy), sisters Dorothy Fennell and Ruth Compagna; and brother-in-law Michael Govreau.

She is also survived by her three loving sons, Lemarcus, Michael, and Allen Blount (Barbara); stepdaughter Debra and stepson David (Karyn) Jones; grandchildren Meagan, Bryan, Allen J. (Mary Frances) and Kaitlyn Blount; Step grandchildren, Sean Boyer (Melissa) and Topaz Jones (Riley Combelic); great grandson, Theodore Chuhinko-Blount; Step grandchildren, Payton and William Boyer; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary was the epitome of a gracious Southern lady, loved by and loving all who knew her.
