Mary M. Bartlett, 83, of Ocala, FL, passed away in Dade City, FL on Thursday, February 4, 2016. Mary was born in Castlewood, South Dakota on June 5, 1932 to parents, Lloyd & Nellie Sikkink. After graduation from high school, she attended Sioux Falls College. Following college she worked as an elementary school teacher, then Boeing in Wichita, Kansas, where she met her husband, Jim. The majority of their life together was spent in Miami raising their five children. There, Mary worked as a school photographer at Wilson School Pictures but her greatest joy was raising her children and sharing her contagious laughter. She is survived by her 5 loving children and 6 grandchildren. A lakeside celebration of Marys life will be held Saturday, February 6th at 3p.m., 34421 Tranquiview Lane, Dade City, FL. Private services will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL on Monday, February 8th. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Marys name to the Parkinsons Association, www.parkinson.org or The Alzheimers Association, www.alz.org.
