IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary
Baldwin
October 14, 1948 – November 11, 2020
Mary McCready Rogers Baldwin (Mer), age 72, formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 after fighting a courageous battle with leukemia for over 6 years.
Mary was born on October 14, 1948 in Richmond Virginia to David Ross and Frances Maxine Ferriter Rogers. She was a proud graduate of Florida State University and obtained a RNBSN degree that she utilized throughout her career leading and caring for others as a registered nurse. She married her college sweetheart, Bruce Wayne Baldwin in 1972 and in 48 years of marriage they made a home in Dade City raising 3 daughters that were the light of her life.
Anyone that crossed Marys path was touched by her warmth, healing presence, and creativity. She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church, devoted wife, a model mother, loving sister, talented crafter, and avid Florida State football fan. There was nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with her family.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents and younger sister, Kathleen Michele Ramon. She is survived by her husband Bruce and 3 daughters; Amanda, Robin and Heather, grandsons Derrick and Griffin, siblings Patricia and David, son-in-law Gardy, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Marys final resting place will be in the family cemetery in West Virginia. In lieu of a local service, memorial donations may be given to Moffitt Cancer Center, where she not only worked but also received outstanding care.
