Marvin Williams, 83, of Dade City, Florida. Born July 29th, 1939, passed away Thursday, April 20 th, 2023, at Ponds Edge Zephyrhills, Florida.
Marvin, or as he was affectionately known by those who love him, Goober and Chicken Hawk, was born in Baker, Florida to Paul and Sara Williams. Marvin had a big family, his brothers; Roy, Roger, Bobby, and Hank. Sisters; Ouida, Rachel, Velma, Joyce, Pauline, Barbara.
He was first married to Margaret from 1962 to 1980, where he had two daughters, Sheila and Lisa.
Marvin then married Brenda in 1982 and was married until her passing in on January 6th 2023. Brenda had two sons, John and Charles, both of whom have passed.
After graduating from Baker High school, Marvin joined the army and fought bravely in the Vietnam war, enlisting on August 20th, 1959 and serving until November 17th, 1967.
Some of the things Marvin enjoyed most included bowling, fishing, watching western movies and listening to his favorite songs.
He was with Withlacoochee River Electric for 25 years
Marvin is survived by his daughters, Lisa and her husband David of Dade City, and Sheila of Crestview.
Grandchildren and spouses; Allen and Amber Williams, Christina and Chris Branum, Mary Counihan, Rebecca Cadenhead, Marcus and Josee Cunio.
Great Grandchildren; Robert, Julius, and Isabella.
Along with 5 nieces and 9 nephews.
