Marvin Lee Chynoweth, 85, died April 26, 2022, in Hospice Care while recovering at Advent Health Hospital, Dade City, Florida.
Marv was born to Ruth F. Knox and Vernon Lee Chynoweth August 25, 1936, in Delta Colorado. Marv was the oldest of six children and is survived by a sister Shari Blout (John) and niece Sheryl Blout. Marv was preceded in death by a sister Lois LaVern Boyer (Bo), brothers Bobby Glen Chynoweth , Dennis Adrian Chynoweth, and Larry Dean Chynoweth.
Marvin leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years, Lynda Bingham Chynoweth of Dade City, Florida; a son, Dennis "Crunch" (Leigh Anne Berry) Chynoweth, two bonus daughters Lindsey Giacalone (Steven S.) and Amy Madden (Alvin H.); nine grandchildren, William Marvin Anthony Chynoweth (Sarah), Autum Nicole Chynoweth, Gregory Paul Giacalone, Alicia Erin Madden, Bailey Faith Chynoweth (Jamar Camp), Samantha Lyn Madden, Emily Nicole Claremont, Drew Owen Chynoweth, Ashleigh Rebekah "Bekah" Chynoweth; four great grandchildren, Dixon Roy Chynoweth, Dakota Kialand Camp, Livie Rae Chynoweth, and Denver Kaice Camp, niece Denise Chynoweth and nephew Thomas Chynoweth.
Marv retired from Northwest Pipeline/Williams Company after 25 years of service in 1991. Marvin was credited with the safety logo for the Williams Company Safety Program that is still being used today. The great friendships and memories created here lasted his entire life.
During his early life in San Diego, California Marv was the city marble champion for years and loved being a caddie at Balboa Park Golf Course (Old Course). Later, Marvin played semi pro baseball and traveled with a professional softball team while living in Alpine, California. While in the later years of life, Marv enjoyed golf, poker, family game nights (when they traveled in) and time at Skydive City, Zephyrhills, Florida watching the jumpers "fall with style".
Marv's wishes were to be cremated with no services. Please hold him in your heart and honor your memories with him privately.
