Martin Perez, 59, was born on January 30, 1963, to his parents: Maria Guadalupe Perez and Pedro Esmeralda Perez in Raymondville, Texas. He is now joining his mother; Maria Perez; Brothers: Jose Guadalupe Perez, Eustacio Perez; Nephew: Michael Perez; Niece: Pleasure Michele Perez; Sister-in-Law: Marilyn Rhoden Perez. Leaving behind his wife of 15 years: Tonia Perez; his two daughters: Tawney Estella Allen (Perez), and Elizabeth Marie Perez; Stepchild: kristen Siegrist Son: Floyd Dillion Harris; Grandchildren: Briyana Crisp, Brittany Crisp, Kaylee Allen; Brothers: Pete, Joe; Sisters: Maria Moore, Maria Retana, Juanita; Father: Pedro Esmeralda Perez (99); Best friends: Joel and Nova Cooner and Ramona Atkins.
He was a great husband, friend, brother, son, and most of all a wonderful grandfather (Poppy) to his granddaughters. He enjoyed his time, playing pool, fishing, BBQing, gardening, and most of all being around great friends and being around his family. He had a very special heart for his grandkids. Martin was always there when you needed him.
His passing was truly unexpected. Martin was a tow truck driver for 20 years. He was no stranger to saying what is on his mind. He will forever be in our hearts and will be missed incredibly.
A service will take place Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, Florida. A visitation will take place prior to the service from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
He requested to be cremated and sent home with his daughter Tawney Allen.
