Martin Doniaz Jr., 44, of Plant City, passed away on April 11, 2026, at Lakeland Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 15, 1981, in Salisbury, North Carolina.
Martin was a loving father, son, brother, and soon-to-be grandfather whose presence could light up any room. He was funny, outgoing, and known for being the life of the party. His laughter and energy were contagious, and he had a way of making everyone feel welcome and valued.
He is survived by his children: Destinee Marie Doniaz (March 2, 2005), Neveah Leanne Doniaz (December 23, 2005), and Ryan Anthony Doniaz (December 1, 2007). He was joyfully anticipating the arrival of his grandchildren - one expected in May and another later this year - a role he looked forward to with great excitement.
Martin is also survived by his father, Martin Doniaz; his mother, Guillermina Contreras; his sister, Johanna Diaz; and his brother-in-law, Jose Diaz. He also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews: Jovanny Leonard Bates, Mia Johanna Diaz, Jose Humberto Diaz Jr., and Angelina Amora Diaz.
Martin truly enjoyed being a truck driver. He loved being on the road and embraced the sense of freedom it brought him.
He cherished time spent with his loved ones and shared a deep bond with his extended family and countless friends, all of whom meant so much to him. His circle was wide, and his impact was deep. He was loved by many and will be missed more than words can express.
He will forever be remembered for his warmth, his laughter, and the love he gave so freely.
Martin is deeply missed and will forever remain in our hearts. We love you always. May God welcome you into His eternal peace and may you rest in peace.
