Martha L. Peifer, 85, passed away Wednesday, December 23rd. She was born August 30,1935 in Hundred, West Virginia and lived on a farm with her parents Clarence and Mary, sisters Jean, Patricia, and Ginger, and her brother Charles. Marty and her siblings knew the value of hard work and had many stories to tell about their childhood adventures. Marty was an avid animal lover and her pets throughout the years; horses, pigs, stray cats and rescue dogs, were cherished and treated like family. Marty dedicated her life to serving the Lord and loved being active in her church. She loved cooking and baking for church events and activities, and was always happy to serve wherever she was needed. She spent much time visiting church members who were ill or in nursing homes and hospitals. You could always count on her to lift spirits with her kindness, generosity and cheerful smile. She was always there to help others in need and was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. Marty was also an amazing artist and had an eye for detail. Her oil paintings were precise and beautiful, and her creativity inspired her to experiment with many mediums resulting in unique and one of a kind pieces. Marty and her husband Jack of 51 years resided in Wesley Chapel, Florida.
