Martha Elouise Hobbs, 81, of Dade City, Florida, passed away on January 22, 2016. She was born to the late Sam and Maybelle Courtney of DeFuniak Springs, Florida on December 26, 1934. Known to her family and friends as Elouise, she lived a life full of love with a hearty spirit. A long time Dade City resident, Elouise worked at Lykes Pasco before retiring in 1978. She loved the supporting the Florida Gators, the local VFW, and her grandchildren and great grandchildren in their extracurricular activities. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ray Hobbs, who she wed on August 6, 1950. Also surviving are her three children, daughter Sandra Naylor (Doug Naylor) and sons Randy Hobbs (Claudia Hobbs) and Michael Hobbs (Connie Hobbs); granddaughters Shawn Graham (Del Graham), Nicole Archibald (Bo Acrhibald), Hillary Tepedino (Jose Tepedino), Stephanie Blommel (Clay Blommel), and Megan Hobbs; grandsons Steven Ballard and Steven Hobbs (Keaton Hobbs); and great grandchildren Traiver Graham, Courtney Graham, Andrew Blommel, Aubrey Blommel, and Trent Adams. She is also survived by her brother, Gene Courtney.She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, and many other loved ones.Visitation is scheduled 9-11 am on Monday, January 25 at the Hodges Funeral Home in Dade City (11531 Hwy 301). The funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 11 am at the same location.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sharing Hope for a Cure in her memory.
