It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Martha Louise Gant Damron, 79, of Dade City, Florida, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Advent Hospital in Zephyrhills, Florida.

Martha was born on October 26, 1945, in Byesville, Ohio, to Francis Wilson Gant and Mable Florence Jeffers Gant. She was the beloved wife of Scotty Randall Damron for over 50 years before his passing, and a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Martha was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Daire Damron Hulinek, and several siblings, including Shirley Mae Hayes, John Francis Gant, and others in her extended family.

Martha graduated from Little Miami High School in Morrow, Ohio, where she was a proud member of the marching band, playing the baritone. She attended Miami University in Dayton, Ohio, before embarking on a distinguished career in title insurance. Over her 50+ years in the field, Martha became one of the most respected title insurance agents and researchers in the area, renowned for her skill in untangling complex legal puzzles and conducting century-long title searches. She was also the original title insurance agent for Saddlebrook.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Martha was a passionate and loving individual. She enjoyed hobbies such as singing, ceramics, quilting, sewing, gardening, and canning, and she loved spending time with her family and attending church.

Martha's warmth, honesty, intelligence, and caring nature touched the lives of all who knew her. Her determination and attention to detail were qualities that made her both an outstanding professional and a beloved friend. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she enriched.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, from 6-8 PM at Hodges Family Funeral Home, Dade City, Florida. A private family service will take place at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM, and graveside services at 2:00 PM at Chapel Hill Gardens in Dade City, Florida. A reception with food and fellowship will follow at the Women's Club in Dade City at 2:30 PM.

Martha's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported her throughout her life and especially in her final days. Your love, prayers, and kindness are greatly appreciated.
