DOUGHTERY, Martha Helen Rohr, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 in Zephyrhills, Fl. She was preceded by her husband, William Doughtery; and is survived by her children, Francis, Patricia, Thomas, Daniel and James; 13 grand-children and 7 great-grand-children. She was also preceded by her parents, Harold LaVerne Rohr and Helen Young Rohr; brother, Richard; and sister, Ethel. Blanche was born in Dunkirk, New York, April 13, 1927. She graduated from Elmira Heights High School in June 1945 and Hornell Nursing School in June 1946. Blanche and William were married August 21, 1946 at St. Charles Boromeo Church in Elmira Heights, NY, where they raised their family; then traveled extensively between their retirement from Thatcher Glass Company in 1981 and 1994 they became residents of Zephyrhills. Blanche will be interred with William, a Veteran of WWII, in Arlington National Cemetery.
