Martha Casella 83, of Dade City, FL passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in Zephyrhills under the care of Gulfside Regional Hospice. She was born January 14, 1933 in East Fallowfield, PA to Walter O. & Mary Ann Gibson Hardy. Martha's family moved to Florida in 1953 from Coatesville, Pennsylvania and settled in Dade City where they opened Casella's Grocery Store and Restaurant in Lacoochee. She later worked for Kraft Foods, Evan's Fruit Packing and McDonald's. Martha is survived by 3 children: Chris Casella (Wanda), Rose Casella Shive, Angelo Casella Jr. (Angela); 12 grandchildren: Jennifer Casella, Christa Bentley (Jason), Chris Casella, Donnie Shive III, Chad Shive, Ashley Casella, Christopher Casella, Linsey Casella, David Casella, Cole Casella, Addison Casella, Connor Prickett; 7 great grandchildren: Seth Roderick, Sierrah Nix, Andrea Shive, Ayden Shive, Emma Bentley, Kayin Shive, Liam Kofroth; and 2 sisters: Maryann Peck, Betty Clevenstine. Memorial services will be held 10am Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home.
