Obituary

Marshall C. Briscoe Sr. passed away peacefully at the age of 94 on December 9, 2024, in Dade City, Florida. Marshall was born in Morgantown, West Virginia, on July 26, 1930, and grew up in the mountains until he started his Army career, where he served in the Korean War with the Army Tank Battalion. After the war, he started his family, marrying Anna Linsenbigler on April 4, 1953 and having 5 children. Marshall was a cook on land and at sea. He loved to fish, play golf, and gamble.

Marshall had many achievements in life, he was the commander of the AM Vets and received a Korean Freedom medal from Kim Dae-Jung president of the public of Korea. His greatest achievement in life was his 5 children, 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

He leaves behind his wife: Anna Briscoe of 71 years, and children: Marshall Briscoe Jr. (Joann), Stanley (Theresa), Bruce (Bonita), Raymond (Gail), and Martha Barthle (Jeff).

Marshall is now home with his parents: Stanley and Myrtle Sluzenski, his sister and brother-in-law: Barbara and Gordon Schrader, brother: Carl Chappel and sister: Kim Yonkovic and cousin: Laura Mae Ridenehour.
